Customer Reviews For Dean Stealth Floyd Rose Electric Guitar with Case (Snake Skin Graphic)

By E. Bakman “king666nothing” (Dallas, TX USA)

This guitar features all of the body of mahogany. Mahogany neck in September Rosewood fretboard. Licensed Floyd Rose double-locking tremolo. Dean DMT pickups in the position of the neck and Seymour Duncan Dimebucker in the bridge position. 3-way toggle switch. Dime Traction Knobs. Grover tuners. It is available in two colors – black (w / o Floyd Rose) and snake skin (w / Floyd Rose).

Guitar sounds amazing. Dimebucker is high performance which is great for playing leads and doing Dimebag harmonic squeals mark. Sustainability is low, especially considering the amount of wood on the pallet and the construction of the neck in September The headstock is heavy and pulls down when you play standing up, which is rather inconvenient as you have to keep with his left hand. Different from the guitar is impressive. It looks incredible and sounds. I would give it 9 stars out of 10, but 5 stars out of 5. This is the best Dean guitar I’ve ever seen. Besides, the price is right.

When I saw the Dean Stealth Snakeskin Graphic electric and equipped with a Floyd Rose tremolo closure available as a lightning deal for 40% off I could not resist capturing one. I really was not looking for a new electric, but I always had a weakness for “different” guitars. What made this so attractive Stealth (outside of the drill body and cutting blade) was his snake-gray graphics. Talk about dangerous looking … Besides being able to use it as a weapon (if you like your swing ax around while jamming suggest keeping a safe distance from fellow musicians to avoid accidental impalement), the volume and tone controls have fangs of a serpent, like the gauges on the clear Lucite knobs. The plate says Dime signature as a tribute to the late Dimebag Darryl who was undoubtedly the inspiration for the original design of this guitar over the top. As a final touch, the 12th Fret inlay is a mother of pearl razor blade.
Having never owned (or played) to Dean first, I hoped that I would have liked the way I felt in my hands. With the front and the center seems kind of assumed that would sound pretty hot. The thing that struck me when I raised 1 l ‘(included) hard-shell case was how heavy it was. I could not believe how big the case was one. This is a guitar that I would not be waiting to take the road if I did not have a roadie to carry it. The opening, I was thrown out by the flash of Stealth. Very flamboyant. This is also a great guitar, in particular on lower body. On strapping on I could not help but notice his weight (much heavier than my Les Paul SmartWood for sure). The guitar has been pre-tense and more or less in tune right out of the box. The neck is wider than the neck I’ve ever met, who took a little ‘getting used to (especially since, at first, the strings seemed just a little’ later than expected). I plugged the beast in my Line 6 AxSys and just complain. Before I knew that my left hand was used for the width (the smooth finish on the neck and keys was helpful) and my withdrawal began striking the strings clean. Oh yeah, do not worry, this power is about to have its uses for sure.
In sum, my view is that the Dean Stealth Floyd Rose Electric (snakeskin graphics) is a crash visual turn heads. Unless you are trying to show calm and keep all eyes on you, I do not see this as a guitar type of horse. At least for me, I’m going to pull the Stealth on special songs for that added kick. I play slide guitar a lot, but the neck seems perfect for this, so I am considering to try it as my slide ax special. We’ll see how it works, but no matter, with the dirty money and I got to high quality workmanship in all my new Dean is a keeper. I would suggest you try one before buying, just to make sure that the width of the neck, large body size and weight a bit ‘heavy are acceptable to you, but since they are no longer being manufactured, which could not be possible. In that case, keep all the above in mind and if you can get one for $ 500 or less, I’d say Go for it, without worries and Rock Out!
