Because of the low price, we decided to give this camera a try, despite some not so great reviews. The webcam worked just outside the box in Windows XP. Yes, it’s a bit ‘wobbly and without the suction cup does not really stick … but what you want for fifteen dollars? The picture is better than our previous 3 webcam and microphone works well. We use it mostly in our kitchen with moderate light and the picture is fine. The microphone works well for group / speaker conversations, there is no feedback on the other end, but not so bad. It has a manual focus that we have set a time and then did not adjust after that. Contrary to other reivews, this webcam works seamlessly with Skype / Skype Video (version 4.x): no problem. This is the best webcam value for money. If you want basic webcam to chat with the grandmother or for use with Skype on a Windows PC, this is to get.
