I take the minutes to explain what happened to us when we tried to connect an HDTV antenna so you do not have to waste your time doing the similar goal. First of all, our family has always wanted an HDTV.
This was a task in themselves. There must be 100 different brands and types to choose from! So then we did encounter one that we all agreed. Having set up the TV that we learned that we also had to acquire an HDTV antenna should be able to control our local channels broadcast in HD.
Our original dish we tried was purchased at the same point, like our TV. Having assembled together in the garage that we brought in and up the stairs to the 2nd story window.
We took out the panel and put the year 17 years on the roof with the antenna. We used walkie talkies to interact between the roof and the family room with TV. His task was to turn the antenna in small increments until the signal came
The problem was that we could get only 2 channels at a time to come to light, but you can never get all the channels arrive at once. So we brought the antenna, took him to the garage, simulate, and took back to buy a bigger and go through the procedure again complete.
Once again on top of the roof, with the year 17. Twisting and turning and all the time in a storm ruined. It was not that bad, but it continues to rain the same.
This went on for almost a total of 4 nights during the period of December, during the cold and rain. We never could get this HDTV antenna to operate in order to reach the top. We brought the antenna large anomaly again disassembled and put back in the car to return.
I was glad it did not work because it looked horrible up there on the roof. It stuck out like a finger of the race. Then we did some research on the internet and found an antenna that claimed to do everything necessary and the good part was cheaper and more and more children.
In reality there was no bigger than the size of a piece of cake. So we bought the HDTV antenna and brought home. N. assembly required, and we put the roof back 17yr old with the walkie talkie, and this time we had a signal before we even tried to change the antenna.
It is plausible .. We found all the channels come in crystal without even groped to set the antenna in a perfect “sweet spot” that we were used to set the previous two additional.
Only by putting on the roof and pointing in the general direction in which the stations were located was all that was needed! Apparently this antenna was an HDTV antenna much higher caliber.
If I had known this 5 days ago, I could have saved all those evenings, the poor boy on the roof and aggrevation it took for our home and then, as HDTV!
