I ordered this TV on the night of Thanksgiving 2008 from OfficeMax. I had sent to my dorm at Berkeley. This TV does not fully support his work. It acts as a second monitor as big as a large TV. The local HD channels give their best on this thing (when I have my antenna set correctly). I also use it for my Wii games. Using component cables, this TV converts excellent output 480p video from my Wii to match the 1080p screen, the video does not lag or feels grainy. Also remember if you like 4:3 or 16:9 SD TV viewing for you, so you do not have to keep resetting your preference each time you start up, like a TV with a lower quality
(side note: I do not know how to stand by and watch SDTV stretched to 16:9 when it is intended to be 4:3, it makes everyone look short and fat)
Only I can do with this TV is that it lacks composite and S-Video inputs. The DVI, VGA and 2 HDMI inputs are great, but the lack of a second entrance to any component or composite input makes it difficult to use no more HD devices to it.
I highly recommend this TV.

I installed this TV behind the kitchen sink. I thought maybe I could watch the news while I washed the dishes. Now I have a high stool in my kitchen and watch TV too much. This is simply one of the best photos I’ve ever seen, and I am a photographer. This is good deal for the money. The sound is good, it would be nice if the amp the sound was a bit ‘bigger. But if not, then I would never leave the kitchen. “Perfect” for the work and the place is a virtue of the statement. Makes me want to have two kitchens, LOL. Hmm, maybe the bathroom. Then I Fat and Clean. BTW 24 “would be to high to fit under the cupboards.

I saw the Samsung 2333HD advertised as a 23 “monitor with a TV tuner. Now, why do you say that? Do not know, but I’ll tell you what. This TV color is nice, clear, crisp, Heck even tilt it on its stand, the more you can use it as a computer monitor. I can not think of a reason not to buy this LCD screen quality … except …
The speakers sound like a portable AM radio from 1960. Very tinny. The kid you not. It is not the richer sound of my 19 “Samsung LN19A650 (which I recommend, btw.) Why did the speaker to be so lame? I had my 19″ in the bedroom, this 2333HD in the kitchen, so I even exchanged the rooms were in, but the result tinniness TV. I tried to use the equalizer and beef, the low end, below the high end, but when you add the bass, the sound of metal remained.
Yes, this TV apparently has a sound media. But that means that to bring the Sound menu where you select from Standard, Music, Film, Voice, and personalized. What one finds is that Custom and Standard were the best choices because Music, Film, Voice were even more * metallic.
I also thought maybe I would learn to get used to it, because I bought the TV at good price, and, hey, the big 23 inch screen is just soooo nice in terms of quality. So I gave it a chance. I tell you, to watch this TV in a period of days gave me a thin earache, which tinniness again.
I boxed the 2333HD back up and return it to the store. I just can not hack that metallic sound. Why Oh Why Samsung would allow this to happen? So that’s why places advertise this as “a monitor with TV tuner? Is the phrase to be wary of?
Update: I just realized that the sound problem is with this 2333HD. This TV does not have SRS TruSurround XT as my 19 “does. On this TV, I had turned the switch ON immediately, so he had ever played without it. Until this morning when I turned the option OFF, and a slightly metallic sound coming from 19 “, but never as bad as the 2333HD, but it was there. I turned the option back in my 19 “and the sound was much better, deeper, absolutely tinniness it. So, my lesson, if the HDTV Samsung’s SRS TruSurround XT option, I will Buy it.
